CCD Is mostly burned with Clone cd Nrg file burned using Nero 5. CDI or CDJ file is burned with Padus Disk Juggler MDF MDS file is burned with Alcohol 120% BIN CUE files are burned with cdrwin You probably wont need this though as they are uncommon. The most preferred method is obtaining a CDI file. Open the Dreamcast up, take boot disk out and place your burned game in. Anything you put in that format will no longer work. BIN/CUE defines an entire session, but doesnt support multisession, so you cant store Dreamcast games in BIN/CUE format. You forgot the CUEBIN (redump default format, which include all disc data including the unnecessary garbage data, but its aim to be a 1:1 copy), Its the best format for the preservation purposes. If it requires a boot disc than just burn it normally as explained in step 4, pop it in the Dreamcast and it will load, it will tell you to insert CD. ISO files are just 1 single data track, so you cant store Dreamcast games in ISO format. Those are meant for burning to CDs, which do not have enough space to store uncompressed dreamcast games. Your download description should make this clear. Some games require a utopia boot disk to start, Non-self boot. Most games are Selfboot, meaning they start on their own. This will depend on what program is used for the burn. After you have it downloaded, take notice of what type of file it is. You must obtain the iso (the game) and boot disk (i explain below) yourself. I ended up with GDI files not knowing that I couldnt burn those to disks. I am going to back up one of the Dreamcast's best game. I spent a good portion of today trying to locate disc images for the Dreamcast.
